Default The E-30 & Sigma do the Zoo again

A few shots from todays trip to the Zoo.

Some water lillies from the Lilly Pond.
Coming in for a landing. ISO 800 f/11 1/1000s 477mm

.....hey satire.

These are really nice photos from the 50-500 on the E-30. I am curious, what did you use for resting the big lens combo, do you use a monopod with it or just what is handy, how much does the outfit weigh?

The E-30 + HLD4 + EC14 + Sigma 50-500mm weighs about 7.5lbs

I usually use a monopod for portability, but really should use a tripod for better stability. Even using IS and a monopod the slower shutter speeds have a softness to them due to my shaky hands.
