Default Thank you both

Hi Steven & Sarah,

Thanks for pointing out that the photo I entered this month got chosen.
I didn't notice until I saw your post.

Tell you a little story about this photo. I went to my grandaughter's last T-Ball game a couple of weeks ago to try and take some photos to remember the occasion. Well this one boy was really having a difficult time making contact with the ball. Even though, his swing appeared to be perfectly flat and in the same plane as the ball. I couldn't figure out how he kept missing it.

Anyways, I took a few shots of him at the plate, and here is one posted!!

P.S. Steven, you should enter this month as the top prize is an Olympus Ep-1 camera. That would be pretty cool to win.

Way to go, Zig.

I do identify with that boy at his age. I started wearing eyeglasses in 4th grade. It took me a long time to find a sport that depended way more on athletic agility and strength than long-range visual acuity.

So I was deadly as a wrestler in high school. (grin) My point being that maybe that's where that young boy needs to look.

Default Hi Ted/Greg,

Hey thanks guys much appreciated.

Ted,
I have a soft spot for little kids who have some issues at playing sports. I was anything but good when I was young. I remember playing ball in the summer. All the kids in the neighborhood would get together and the 2 best kids (meaning oldest) would be captains and get to pick kids they wanted on their team. You guessed it... I would always be one of the last kids chosen and for good reason, I couldn't hit or field the ball. But, I had a good team spirit!
