Default Example of soft focus filter E-30/E-620

Looks like someone in Texas besides Greg, is taking advantage of the filters found in the E-620/E-30 cameras.

Just visited Kirk Tuck's website this morning and took a look at his latest entry. It's a portrait taken with an E-30 using the soft focus filter.

What's of interest to me is the image presented was taken in available light and has not been postprocessed in any way.

Judge for yourself.

That's an outstanding portrait. Quite impressive. I would imagine shot at f2 with that 35-100 f2 as well, which would enhance the look even more.

I've played with that soft focus filter too, but what I've shot has looked "thinner" than the image he posted...too flat. Of course, I wasn't shooting a subject quite as beautiful as the one he was working with, either!

Actually I have tried the the E-30 w/ 35-100mm f2 using the soft focas and didn't care for the results much, of coarse my model wasn't any where as nice.
