Default Chasing the sun.....

I haven't done any new fashion/creative shoots since June but I have occasionally had a wee chance to take a few snaps and as its always been right at the end of the day thats turned into its own little project - Chasing the sun.

1. The embankment - between Tower and London bridges (this is the shot that basically started it all off). E3 + 35-100 F2

2. The green Chigwell, Essex: E3 + 14-54ZD

3. Hackney Marshes - E3 + 14-54ZD

4. The embankment - near Waterloo bridge E3 + 14-54ZD

Pic 1 - PP in LR2, pics 2-4 all jpegs straight from cam.

Cheers

Harj

Fantastic photos Harj! I like the second one best even though I like all of them.

#4 is my favorite; I really like the overall effect. Did you use a star burst filter for the sun?

Nice shots Harj.

Did you use any filters for the clouds in the first one? My fav has to be #4 as well.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the comments on the pics ... they're really appreciated.

Steve/Zeshane, regards filters - the only one I have is the UV Super Pro's on both lenses. What I've found is if you stop down to F11-13 the 14-54 consistently will produce that sunburst effect. I'm not 100% sure on the colours on No 4 - they're quiet muted compared to how it really looked, esp with the sky. The clouds above the hotel were a really vibrant pink/red/orange/yellowish tint which theyre not in the jpeg - I'm going to see what I can do with the RAW file. No2 I think is spoilt because there was big smudge on the filter which I didn;t spot until I took No 4!

Bob, I look at the first and there is a different quality to the file compared to the others and thats just down to the beastie...

Cheers

Harj
