Aaaahhh!, my two favorite things on this earth: sunrise and the ocean.
When I'm able to put them together, well, they're is just nothing better.

All great shots! Thanks for sharing. I don't notice any barrel distortion. Did you make some correction in PP?

Chances are, he did not. I've taken files shot with the 7-14 at 7mm and applied PTLens, just to see what it would do, and it does not do much if anything. For a superwide it's pretty darn perfect, other than the weight! You can create some funky looking super-wide effects if you hold it at a weird angle or shoot something up too close, but that's about it.

Greg is right, no corrections done, just some small adjustments for levels and contrast.

Found a shot taken by one of the others that I went with showing me taking the the first image.

Yep, and that's the "cheap" pro-level Zuiko! If you've got a once & a lifetime trip and/or really need the coverage it's worth having.

I've had this lens for about three years now and almost never use it. Was thinking about selling it but just couldn't since it so unique.

Regards pricing of eth SHG lenses .. they've jumped up quiet a bit, but then again so have similar quality Canon/Nikon/Sony glass.

The 9-18 for the price is pretty much a steal..

Cheers
