Default Snowfire..

...rose. Seeing as we had our first frost overnight, I can say pretty confidently that this is IT for the roses (barring any miracles). These are from the E-410. Some shot with ambient light and a couple shot with bounced, diffused flash (FL36R). Same flower. Different lighting and angles.

Great photo, Gary-

Very nicely done. Weather affects us all, and more so our gardens.

Have a great day.

I think the ice storm we had early on in the year plus all the rain really screwed up plant life in general around here. Our autumn colors are rather bland this year. Hopefully, they'll get better later in the week.

You certainly know how to get the most out of the E-410.

They are all great images with good exposure, rich colors, and sharpness. The water droplets add to composition. My favorite is the last one.

Thanks very much, Zig. I really like shooting florals. There's just a appeal to them that, to me, is extremely gratifying. Unfortunately, this year's crop was not too good as far as good quality flowers. Hopefully, next year will be better.
