Default When no one else will pose for you.....

Sad sounding, I know.

Shot with the E620 and 12-60 Zuiko zoomed to 60mm. Manual exposure of 1/160 second at f8, ISO 320. FL50R flash with Demb bounce attachment.

Captured RAW, I created a semi-subtle soft focus effect by turning down the clarity slider in Adobe Camera RAW to taste.

This is Sprocket, my 20 pound, 14 year old kitty, captured as he impatiently waited for me to give him the second half of his can of wet food for the day.

Only when it comes to food...he expects it when HE wants it, and he does not shut up from the time I walk through the door in the evening until I put the first half of that can on the floor for him.

I don't care how old he is, I wouldn't keep a 20lb hungry cat waiting.

Zig

And yes, I do like the soft focus effect.

It's the eyes, his eyes are always crystal sharp .... he is a very handsome fellow.

I like the treatment you've done ..

Our Autumn is now 1 1/2 years, she was just past 10 lbs last week at the vet.... we get the same treatment with the food act.

Very nice shots! I know what you mean because all my friends are self-conscious and I use my cat also.
