Default My new lens

My new 50mm f/2 lens arrived last night so here are some test shots.



Playing with Photoshop.



Why I got the lens.

That last one is crazy sharp. Makes me want to get one!

Yes, very sharp, but most lenses are at f/11. I'd be interested to see sharpness characteristics at f/2.

Look at image sample #23 of 25 from this review of the 50mm f2 at DPReview. The original file is there for download if you want to see the full resolution image.

This is from the lens coupled to the EC-14 converter wide open.
