There was almost no snow before yesterday. We got dumped on overnight. 10-12 inches of very heavy snow and a blizzard warning for today with 40 mph wind expected.

My employer has closed the place today. Good thing! No way I'd make it in until a plow hits our street!

Default Yuk!

I have not seen much more snow myself here than that over my lifetime. I've been other places where it's been like that, but fortunately I was just visiting!

It was down to 25 degrees here this morning with a chill factor of something like 10-12 degrees, and that's about all we can handle!

OTOH, looks like a great playground for those dogs of yours.

Hi Greg, from the great state of Florida, where it's about 80 here today, we're expecting rain (again) this weekend.

I grew up in the panhandle of Texas, so I remember snow and ice, but not like THAT! Anyway enjoy your day(s) off, and pat your dogs on the head for me...

King says hello..

.......and me, I grew up in Iowa, spent quite a lot of time in Northern Minnesota and FAR NW Ontario, Can so i can relate to the snow & temp to 30-below-0. But then that was before I grew up and decided Orange County Calif followed by DFW were the places to be when REAL LIVE picture post cards look like that.

Darn that is pretty..............
