Default Your Best of 2009...

(if there is an ad, I don't endorse it.)

It is about that time of the year, and I thought it would be to share photos from the last year. I'm not looking for technical perfection. I'm not looking for the sharpest or anything of the sort. I'm looking for pics that YOU took and like from this year for whatever reason.

I'm getting ready for some house cleaning on the computer and archiving some and trashing some clunkers. I'll be contributing as the process continues.

Hope I'm not the only one...

A few to follow this post.

....I am about to get to the 'housekeeping' point too. It is always interesting to re-look and think of some, "why the heck did I keep that" just B4 hitting the 'save' button again.

I have a couple favorites that come to mind for maybe a separate thread from the pgmCoder.

Default Betcha ya thought it was a bird!

My wife and I visited friends in Manhattan this Spring. Bob, is an avid photographer and we both decided to get up early in the morning and walk through Central Park. Even at 5:30am there was plenty of activity- much to my surprise. But I did manage to take this photo with no one in the frame.

It's been my favorite of the year. Not perfect, but I like it as it reminds me of a great weekend spent with close friends.

I guess if it's permissible to have more than one favorite, this would be my choice. The combination of lighting and subject just jumps off the screen each time I see it.

I can almost smell the spring air in your first pic. A pleasant thing for this time of the year in Wisconsin!

The second is a SUPER photo. Just great!
