Default OPTEKA cable shutter release

I've been wanting a cable shutter release for the E-3 but don't want to spend what the Olympus RM-CB1 costs.

This looks to be a very reasonable & workable solution...........

and on Amazon it is http://www.amazon.com/Opteka-Shutter.../dp/B001PL19QC

.........tnx Gary,

For $10 or less it is worth having even though I will likely never use one. But there may be a time...... I just want one!

.....I surely don't see myself doing recurring time lapsed photography but I do enjoy seeing that type series, especially plant growth and/or flowering.

heheheh... I thought that at one time. You'll be amazed at how many times you DO use it. Especially, for macros!

Are there an intervalometer options within the e-620? On my Canon S2, there was...

In any case, care to share a URL?

For wired remotes you have to make sure you get one with the proper connector on it!

Some cameras it connects to the USB connector, while others it's a round connector.

And that Opteka link in the OP has a mistake...you CAN'T connect a wired remote to the E-330! Someone didn't believe me so they bought it anyways, only to waste their money!

caveat emptor - I have not used this item for the E620 and have no idea as to it's functionality.
