Default Lens Adapter

I've seen adapters for lenses that don't fit certain cameras. We have an old 250mm Kalimar lens that fits an old 35mm Pentax film camera. I'd love for it to fit my Olympus E-600. Anyone know where I can find one? If you need more info, let me know.

There are a number of sources on EBay that supply lens adapters to mount different lenses on your camera.

I've purchased lens adapters from Cirrus Wholesale as well as JinFinance - two suppliers located in China. Both make good quality products at very low prices. Or you can buy a lens adapter from CameraQuest for around 175dollars.

I believe that Pentax 35mm used an M42 screw type mount for their lenses. You can order this one from JinFinance for around 9dollars +shipping.

The other type of mount used by Pentax is the K mount. see my additional response as you need to confirm the mount type before you buy anything.

Be aware that any of the older lenses will have to be operated manually, that is aperture and focus would have to be adjusted manually with the camera in manual mode. In and of itself, that's not a problem-just thought you'd like to know.

Here is a bit more information relative to the type of mount your Pentax 35mm may have.

But before using manual lenses here's some learning about them:

I'm still waiting for an order from China as well. But the vendor sent me a message that said vendors were flooded with Christmas orders and there were/are shipping issues right now. So hang in there - I've never had a reputable vendor from China fail to send me what I ordered, although sometimes it's taken longer than I wished...

I just received an order today, that I placed in early December. So it looks like things are moving again from China. Hang in there - it doesn't feel like spring for you.
