Nice shots; I especially like the soft blues and pose of the Blue Jay.

Thanks! The jays are my favorites. Smart and they don't take a lot of guff. He was really ticked off. He didn't take it very long and proceeded to make his presence felt in no uncertain terms.

nice shots I cannot stand starlings, they are a nuisance bird and the moron that imported that species along with some others should have been shot on sight.

Ha! The Starlings migrate to Kentucky huh? We get a break from them here in Northern Ohio in the winter. Looks like you are getting some nice sunny days there too. Let's see, we have had cloudy and more cloudy and tomorrow snow and cloudy....

Thanks! Let's hope the "importer" is spending eternity where he belongs, eh?

These guys are here year-'round, tames. woohoo. I'm quite familiar with the "lake effect". I'm a transplanted Clevelander.

well someone did bring them from Europe and released them into New York City's Central Park as part of an attempt to import all the birds noted in Shakespeare's works...this was in the late 1800's as I recall, the crap on everything, tear apart native bird habitats, rob nests and destroy house exteriors such as eves, soffits, gutters and siding...
