Default Li'l Downy

This guy was one of the few to brave the onslaught of starlings. *He didn't stick around long as more and more of the pests appeared. *Funny thing about starlings -- they don't like being shot at. *

Nice work. They are imho a very pretty bird.

I just don't get many-if any at all opportunities to photograph Woodpeckers. This, despite the fact that they are all over the Cape.
