Default Waning Wolf Moon

Not something I would do very often but thought I would try putting a TCON-17 on my 70-300mm for a moon shot just to see what I could get.

..........and it looks to me that you 'got a lot'

I've never attempted to 'shoot the moon' photographically but it appears that the t-con adapter worked quite well.

It's something I would not want to leave on very long, Bob. The 70-300mm labored a little bit and I certainly wouldn't want to screw up my lens.

ESP metered, Steve. I took about 25-30 until I got the exposure right. I found it easier to shoot it in Aperture priority. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.

Thanks, Dustin. I think I like it better than if I would have caught the full moon.
