600mm!!! Awesome... with the affect of the DOF, you have a perfect background!!! I can focus on the bird. Absolutely well done. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for that.

Shortly after that pic, I lost the sun. That happened alot this winter.

I kept it at ISO 100 for this pic, but I was CLOSE. Shutter was 1/100 and f9 was not enough DOF.

Full size square crop.

I love Chickadees, you've got the glass for them for sure. I find that even 400mm is too short except for the ones I know of that will eat out of your hand, I've gotten some good ones of them with 300mm.
