Hi Bob,

Thanks for the kind words as well as the great comments you posted on Smugmug.

Looks like you and I will be comparing some baseball shots later this week.

So! first thing I did after opening your thread was to check on prices for the 50/200...Gulp. besides it's not just the lens that makes a good photo....Maybe not for a few more months..

Love your shots, all of them. Great captures, wonderful creatures aren't they.

My daughter worked in Everglades Park for a while. In between canoe rentals and running the bar she had a great time there. Got some great (free) tours.

We get the Dall's Porpoise up here, they look like miniature Orca, same markings. They've joined us a few time when sailing in the Puget Sound.

Hi Greg,

San Francisco in June, eh. I can't think of a nicer place in this country than to visit San Francisco at that time of year. Except perhaps, Boston and catching a Red Sox game
Now, that just wasn't nice at all. Worse yet, being there with my girlfriend, I won't have the time to go to a Giants game. I've already looked and they're going to be home part of that week. I even have an old New York Giants hat I bought at the Hall of Fame I could wear.

Great shots Greg...I'm very impressed and have to admit those pictures have very high quality....and as a Pentax guy...that's hard to say about another camera system..

Well OK, you do have my sympathy. If you're going to be there (with or without me), you still should have the best weather possible.
