Hi John,

Just checked at KEH.com and saw the E-1 kits they are offering. Two of the E-1's come with a 14-54mm lens at 379.00. each. That's a seriously good deal as the 14-54mm alone, used, usually sells for 275.00 - 300.00.

That's about a hundred bucks for the E-1.

At that price, I might just get one.

John, it's supposed to be a bit better optically and more robust but I suspect its FOV isn't that different than the ME-1.

Wow, I had no idea since my efforts to find the 14-54mm used had come up short. The E-1 bodies on KEH usually sell for between $250 and $300 so I guess that answers the question I had about if kits were a better deal.

Bargain ones are gone. Are you the proud owner of a new camera? Or did someone else here snap them up.

No John, although I was tempted, a camera not having image stabilization is just a deal breaker for me. I'm going to continue to look at m43 cameras and see how that technology develops.
