Default Gradation and shutter speed impact?

As I was shooting birds today, I was playing around the gradation setting and here's what I noticed. This is using ISO 400 @ 200mm on my tripod...

I simply changed the gradation setting and here are the numbers I saw in regards to shutter speed:

Low key: 1/320
Standard setting: 1/250
High key: 1/160

Odd?
