Default New F/W updates for all Pens

It's out...new firmware updates for all Oly EPn/EPL1 cameras fixing AF speed issues + other misc. stuff. The fact that they mentioned "matching the EPL1..." proves that the EPL1 is/was indeed a better camera than the EP1/EP2 in many respects. That gap has been shortened some with this upgrade.

Okay,

I have tried out the new firmware on the epl-1 and wow. The AF with the kit lens is so much faster. The GF1 does not out AF the oly any more. If it does the same for the ep1/2 you are in for a treat Tuillio.

i think oly and panny shared some secrets.

to be honest i am not surprised. with the Samsung NX10 released, and with Sony's unveiling of their EVIL, it is a good thing to see a more united approach within the m4/3 sector.

That is a good thing. A united m4/3 would make samsung and sony life's a bit harder to break into the evil market. And it will give the m4/3 great abilities down the line.
