Default A few random new pics....

Four new pics - just some random new pics that I've taken this year. I tried some street shooting near the Olympic park thats being built near home but its really camera unfriendly around their.. one of the main reasons why I hadn't until now attempted to go out and shoot the build up of the whole site.

1. Shadows....near the new Olympic stadium... this weekend. E3 + 35-100F2

2. "News" - Gave up trying to take a pic of the stadiums and on the way back spotted this newspaper. E3 + 14-54ZD

3. "Food for thought" - food styling by Marlene. E3 + 14-54Zd - LR3 beta

4. Raag Kirtan - Giani Sital Singh (A renowned classical Indian music teacher in the UK). E3 + 35-100F2 - RAW/B&W converted to jpeg in LR3 beta.

Cheers

Harj

You should be posting more often, Harj. We go weeks without hearing much from you.

Excellent stuff, Harj. My favorite is the shot of Raag. You can count those whiskers!

Hi Harj,

I enjoy seeing your images as you almost always compose the shot from a view that is both different and interesting. The 1st and 3rd are a case in point.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the comments. I need to post more often but I just don't seem to have as much time to shoot as before and more so since I hurt my back (no longer take the camera with me to work). Street photography in and around London is just not as fun as I'd like it to be - the atmosphere in London at least seems to be quiet at photographer. Thats been a big reason why I adn;t attepted to document the rise of eth Olympic stadiums over the last two years.. you just cant get close enough and when you do your going to be harrassed by security guards or the police. The number of CCTV cameras near the site is just unbeliveable...one section had 3 cctv cameras every 30 yards! The City of London is nearly as bad as well...

Jacobt - LR3bet2 .. I like a lot, esp the file output is much better than LR2 although the import utility is just rubbish a major step backwords.

Giani Sital Singh isa pretty amazing character considering hes been blind since birth, travels all over the UK by himself and he's got students all over the place!

Cheers

Harj
