Default caught the insanity!!

Hello everyone, was checking out websites today & noticed Best Buy has the Black EPL-1 with 14-42mm at the same price as B&H. the bug was biting pretty hard so went ahead & reserved 1 for in store pickup. all I really need is another camera but everyone seems to be having fun with their pens.

Congrats Charles and I hope you enjoy it!

I had to go to Best Buy today and get a replacement router as my old one kicked the bucket. (how boring). While I was there, I went to the camera dept. and took a look at the EPL-1. It's very nice. It's a camera with good feel, build quality, and substantially better LCD than I had thought.

Granted, the AF speed is nothing to brag about. But, It was responsive enough for me.

I don't know.............this is getting harder and harder to ignore.
My birthday coming up in a couple of months. Maybe, I'll start dropping some hints. Ya, that's the ticket

Gary & Hards thanks, I picked it up last night. I got up at 5 a.m. to go for a walk in the woods but alas it was thunder storming more of the e-3's area than the epl-1 so went back to bed.

Zig, Thanks. Sorry to here about the demise of your router ( hope the funeral costs are not to extreme ). My birthday was the 1st. so this is a belated present. The LCD is much better than any of the oly dslr's I have, almost has a 3-d type effect to it. as far as auto focus, my intended use for this camera doesn't require fast auto focus that is the e-3's job if speed is required. first accessory is definitely going to be the ft-mft lens adapter.

The EPL1 appears to be a great little cam and its price is dropping day-by-day. Amazon has the champagne color for a mere $539. ButterflyPhoto has it for $523 with Bing cash back. I've purchased cameras from them and they are very reliable...no gimmicks.
