Default Mother's Day Hydrangea

I probably should have cloned out the blemish on the leave but....

Gary,
That is a beautiful image. I love everything about it; the exposure, framing, lighting and color. Great on any day Mothers Day or otherwise.

I'm partial to hydrangeas and have a row of them along the side of home. But we have a way to go before we see any blooms to speak of.

Well done.

Zig

Thanks very much, Zig. This is a first for me. I know nothing about them except I like 'em. I'll have to do a little research on them. I do believe I see more in my future.

Thanks, Dustin. That's exactly why I like shooting with ambient light. Granted, I don't have a lot of control on windy, party cloudy days that provide instability. But, by and large, I like the way it adds depth and a little "drama" to the subject. Not to mention, the effect it has on colors.
