Default A tip to speed up AF on E-520 cameras

Hi all,

Not sure how many forum members frequently visit the Oly forum at DPReview but a member there posted a tip relative to improving the AF speed on the E-520 camera. The suggestion was to simply shut off the LCD display.
To do that, just press the info button which will, in turn, will shut off the display.

There was an immediate and positive reaction from folks that tried it on a number of different models including the E-510, E-620, and E-30. All respondents, to this point, remarked that they saw a noticeable improvement in the speed of the AF system.

I tried it this morning using the E-30 and 70-300mm and while I didn't notice a tremendous improvement, it did seem to focus faster.

YMMV.
