Default Piano Concert

I went to a piano recital the other weekend, but I got really bored of shooting the musicians that I decided to shoot the interior of the piano.

I think its really random, but I was wondering what you guys think?

Nice perspective, and enhanced by the use of monochrome.

The abstract possibilities using the inside of a piano have to be numerous. Great idea, and I do like this example.

miskur, incredible image, lots of leading lines, triangles, repeating patterns, diagonals. you captured so many "technical rules" with this image. Amazing!

The B&W editing worked very well with the subject. Nice framing as well.

Thanks. I just used the built in monochrome thing on my E-620 since I hate editing out of camera.

Hi,
I think you made the right decision in photographing the piano. Moreover, as has already been well said, the framing, exposure, and the use of monochrome really makes this image something that you can frame and display.

It imparts the idea that the photographer knew what he/she is doing.

Well done!
