Default Took these today

Not because they're brilliant shots just that I got a surprize when I saw it.

I was wondering why the swallows didn't seem interested in their nest after all these years.
It's like Steve McQueen's "The Blob" it's filled the box and taking over the neighbourhood. I think any swallow the touched it was absorbed. I didn't get too close in case it got me.

ROTFLOL!!!

That's the nastiest nest I've ever seen. I wouldn't approach it with merely convertional weapons.

Going out with a large trash bag after dark and a large can of spray.

Do I have to wear black, a watch cap and camo paint on my face?

I've gone out with a garbage bag at night, put it over the nest and clipped it into the bag at which point a large pan with gas in it did the trick but this one is wrapped around a structure not hanging in a tree. This could be a painful experience : ) How about 5 cans of wasp spray from 20 feet at dusk ??
