Gary,
............I know absolutely nothing about OM lenses via adapters and have no history with any of the other lenses requiring adaptation to Oly dSLR cams. But what I do know is that some of the pictures I see made from those kinds of combination are quite good, as are yours above.

During 25 years of having a heck of a lot of fun with amateur radio (HAM radio) I built all my HF antennas from simple dipole to complex YAGI. When I did buy a commercial HF antenna I found it was a whole lot easier job to take it from the box, assemble, frequency match it and use it. BUUTTTT, the fun I had working older (for the time) hardware and homebrew pieces made that hobby so much fun..........

I encourage you to continue finding 'junk box' specials and working with them, you will forever be happy you had the fun from doing it.
