Default More old glass

This one of many I have taken in the week or so I have owned my latest find, a Tamron SP 35-80 close focus 'macro' (1:2.5 or 1:1.17with a 25mm tube). Maybe because it's such an unsexy range but I had never given this lens any thought until i realized it was one of the sharpest Sp lenses they ever produced. Incredible buy for the money as far as I'm concerned. Anyway, enjoy, and please feel free to offer suggestions as I'm still very much new to flowers.

John

nice shot John, those deep blue to purple colors are hard to capture, looks like you got it though.

Thanks Charles. I wish I could take more credit for capturing the colors but I think it's the E-1 and lens that deserve the most.

Default A few more

All shot with the E-1 and Tamron during one of the few nice days we've had out here this month.

Looking at it in fresh light does anyone agree that the last one should be cropped to get rid of the empty space on the left?
