Well, lets see. Three times the weight, five time the cost, three times the reach (as used) and a prime instead of a zoom, it really should do slightly better or I want my money back.

At 600mm, I'm filling the frame with the cardinal at around 15 feet. These images are pretty much uncropped, but I straightened plenty and the E-3's banding does betray how much in some of the pics.

Thanks,

The birds do like their grape jelly. I'd say I was shooting around half an hour. It was a busy place, and the shutter count did increase during that half hour too.
