Default Question to 70-300 owners

My lens seem to "stick" when turning the lens to 300mm - at around the 250+mm through to 300mm, it seems to "stick" as it goes along...

Otherwise, it's fine. IQ seems to be good too. Warranty is coming up unless I'm mistaken, that's why I'm wondering.

I'll try to take a video and post it here. Stay tuned.

The zoom action on mine is smooth as butter all the way from 70-300mm. Smoother than the 50-200.

Mine sticks as well but not always at the same spot. It could be as early as 200mm to as late as about 270mm. I've read another report of the same but also a comment from another poster in the same thread who said his smoothed out over time.
