Default [pic] Superb Fairy-wren

There were plenty of Superb Fairy-wrens throughout Oswin Roberts Reserve at Phillip Island. It was quite difficult to get a reasonable photograph of this little bird as they hopped about from branch to branch. I was stalking a male of this species when out of nowhere this inquisitive female popped up right in front of me, craning her head to get a good look at me! I find the females are often far more curious than the males of this species.
