Default Can anyone identify this Olympus camera?

Was checking out other local photographers websites when I noticed this photographer was holding an Olympus camera that I can not identify.
Sorry I couldn't post the pic but if you look under the "bio" section of the following link the pic comes up. Does anyone know which camera this is, it looks like it says e-3 but my e-3 doesn't look like that?

Looks like it reads E-3, at least to me. My E-30 has the model number printed on the right hand side.

Very interesting. the top of the camera looks very, very similar to an E-1, but the camera says E-3. Photoshop perhaps? Maybe he uses and E-3 now, but didn't have a photo of himself with it, and changed the "1" to a "3". It's either that, or he has a direct pipeline to Olympus to try out the next unreleased "E-5?" that is branded as an E-3 decoy.

The more I look at it, the more I tend to believe that it's a PhotoShop altered image of an E-1

it's not an E3, the control configuration is all wrong and the "E3" is way too pronounced.

Looks like "E-5" to me. The controls DON'T look E-3, or E-30. It has an E-1 like mode dial, controls, and WB sensor, but the number doesn't look like "E-1"! Maybe a doctored E-1 to look like an "E-5", or...

Maybe he was given an E-5 to test out since he's a pro Oly shooter, and since he intended to keep using it he used it as his new signature photo.

Anyway we'll find out in 22 days...place your bets.

Funny Greg,
I just got through looking at the FourThirds BuySell forum and was looking at that exact photograph comparing it against the bio pic on the site.

It looks like a dead ringer for the E-1 - all except for the Model number which looks more like a 3 or 5.

I would have to agree looks like a doctored e-1 pic, Haven't ever seen an e-1 in person so didn't even think about the photo being photo-chopped.
