I thought the MKII was the new 14-54mm not the 40-150mm. Am I mistaken?

Actually mk II is just a generic shorthand that just designates the next generation of the same product. I don't even know what formal name it goes by, i.e. Version 2.0, Series II, New Generation, etc. Marketeers and ad agencies all have their pet terms. Oly has used the mk II term on other products in the past. I just use it to quickly identify which 40-150 that I have. Have I confused everybody enough??

LOL! I can assure you that there was a cement wall, chain link fence, and a large Plexiglas window between me and that cat! He looked hungry. Why do you think I like telephoto lens so well.

It's a LOT easier than writing, "40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 and 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6" every time!
