Default Sunset over the Bay

Well the sun has set on Labor Day. The summer is unofficially over with kids going back to school, people going back to work and tourists dwindling.

I wasn't smart enough to take a shot of a sunsetting on Labor Day so I'll post this:

Wow, everything about that one is cool. I love whatever that vegitation is in the foreground. The sunset itself is very nice, but the foreground detail makes this image unique.

Thanks Greg,

That vegetation, which by the way, was the reason I shot that image. I thought it added a great deal of depth. Unfortunately, it is a very invasive weed called phragmite. It has settled in quite nicely, here on the Cape, and is choking out the native beach grasses.
