Default Dragon fly at 600mm

Not enough posting here guys! I have to hang out in the Pentax forum now to see any good pics. That'll never do So to fill the void here's a dragonfly I shot a couple of weeks ago with my 600mm setup. It works pretty well in broad daylight like this. Nothing special about the shot, it was basking in the glory of a full stomach here. I have some of it eating but haven't done anything with them yet. ISO400 at 1/500 developed as a Tiff with viewer2 and cleaned up with Topaz DeNoise5 and Detail 2.

Looks sharper on my file so it may have been softened.

Guessing you exceeded the file size or dimensions so the software on the site compressed it.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking as well. I need to watch that, or get a smugmug account and link to it.

Um, John, Steve's has a whole bunch of forums for posting photos. And of course forums specifically oriented to brands of equipment (of which this is one). Members of this Oly forum choose to post photos here but it is actually a gear forum.

You are right John. We have had some great shots posted here, and this group is always interested in the output of our gear. And some of the best and most informative discussions in this forum started with somebody posting an intersting shot made with their Oly equipment. I'm going to try and post more photos. (Even if Ted always makes fun of my shots!) LOL

I'll see what I can do. I posted the important bits, not sure the rest will tell you much.
