Default Blue Heron

Here is a picture of a Blue Heron at the Inglewood Bird Sancuarty
I think he is Flashing
E-520 with 70-300 lense Croped 100 %

Thanks for sharing, I always love GBH shots. It must have been rather warm that day, they often strike that pose in the summer when they are cooling off.

interesting pose. While I've seen various birds pose that way, mostly cormorants, I've not seen a GBH do that. 'til now.

First thoughts ... the colours look really great and the pic looks nice and sharp... I need to get out more and shoot some wildlife.
