Default I'll have three Lambos to go, please

And make them an '87, '88, and '89 please

1965 Ford GT. I post this one for Harj, who probably is getting tired of images from us Yanks with the steering wheel on the "wrong" side of the car:

A racing Cobra

A great hot rod. The body is Ford '33 and '34 parts. The drive train is all Chevy (I'm not making this up)

The General Lee. This guy is great, and took our teasing really well, about not bringing Daisy Mae Duke along with him.

Still the most beautiful sports car body ever designed:

A 1958 TR3 classic British sports car:

A 1962 VW original Double Cab van:

And last but not least, something especially for Steven R.

Because you all know how much he likes fast Italian cars.

So coming up is a special photo for him.

Steven, are you ready for this?

Hey Ted!

Some really fine cars .... I like the Lambos, although theyve always been too flash for my liking, although the new ones I wouldn;t mind.

Now that Morris Minor - I think its a MMinor looks pretty cool. A friend from college used to have 3 and 2 of them in mint condition!

That Ford GT does look damn nice.. seems to not have aged a bit.. and man the steering wheels on the right side .. now I could drive that no problems.. although you guys need to start driving on the correct side of the road too if I'd ever have a chance of taking it for a spin in the US!
One reason why I really like Portland Or (apart from the landscape and ppl) is the fab public transport.. so no need to drive on the wrong side of he road when I'm stateside!

The Jags and the AC look just the bees knees.... I'd go for the AC but man that would be a hard choice!

LOL! Great series of shots, well done! (even though you are a little old fashioned about style)

What location did you shoot these?

Up until recently, I've always dreamed of owning a Lamborghini. Now, for some reason, my dreams have shifted. They're still beautiful cars, though.

Nice series, Ted.

Thanks, all.

These were shot in a small strip mall in a very elegant (I'm sure you're surprised by that) suburb of Washington, DC. Every Saturday morning the local residents put on an impromptu and unmanaged classic car show there. I was shooting these cars for a client, a tough job but somehow I managed...

Hi, Harj

It is a Minor, and with left hand drive - can you believe it? It didn't get a lot of attention - folks just walked by said hey that's a Morris Minor and kept walking. I only shot it because I knew Steven would find it particularly attractive. Although I figured he would also be attracted to the VW Double Cab - 1.5 liter, 51hp.

I've driven in England and Jamaica, with stick-shift cars (thankfully they don't reverse the pedals), and survived although I did look the wrong way when I came to my first roundabout and almost creamed a motorcycle. My attention got notched up a lot after that.
