Default Blue and Gray Bird flying over my house.

Hi gang: I had today off for the Columbus Day Holiday. Would love to say that I did something exotic, like going to the beach, Busch Gardens, or Lowrey Park; but instead Sharon's '"honey do" list prevailed to control my day.

So this afternoon, as I'm cleaning out the garage, I hear a funny noise, and go outside to look. There was a huge blue and gray bird flying over. Now, we have lots of blue/gray big birds of the Great Blue Heron persuasion, but it was not a heron.

I had not seen this particular species in our neighborhood before, so I ran inside for a camera and took a few quick shots before it disappeared. Thought I would share a couple to see if anyone else is familiar with this bird.

ROTFL - Until I saw the photo I couldn't figure out how you had time to go get a camera and still catch a flying bird...
