Default Some images I've been working on lately.

Hi All,
I've taken to going through some of my older images and running them through ACR 6.2.
Here are a few I've been working on recently. They are priming me up to get ready to go to Florida.

And, it's working 'cause I can't wait to go.

Those colors are pretty dang beautiful, Zig.....almost as pretty as a Cliff Lee curve ball...

Is there any vibrance slider at work there? Whatever you're doing, it's working.

Love the subjects, the colors.
the vignetting of the hibiscus is distracting, though.

Hi Greg,

Actually, I've been running a lot of my older images through ACR6.2 using the settings that Paul (Turbines) had posted in a prior thread (see sharpening workflow). I find the sharpening and noise reduction settings he's suggested as a baseline to be very effective.

As for the colors, the adjustments for the shells were actually to tone down the vibrancy as they were shot using the pop art filter. On the flowers, the adjustments made were to use the sharpening settings and vibrancy:

sharpening 15
radius: .05
detail: 25

clarity: 25
vibrancy: 21

As for The Rangers, great game last night and Josh Hamilton certainly gave the team a boost with his 2run homer. A good friend of mine was at the game last night. I haven't had a chance to talk with him yet. But, I don't think he was happy with the outcome.

Me, I'm hoping Texas goes all the way. They have a good team and have played well this year.
