Hah! Well it does do that. I work in a customer service industry so I know that clients can be quirky. Actually her skin color isn't objectionable, it just looks off to us photographers. Probably OK for normal people...

The background lighting seems fine to me. The light values on her hair are also very nice. What's missing are catchlights in her eyes and the lifting of skin tone values that a little fill flash would have done perfectly.
