Default A Jay and Titmouse

Even though the E-30, by today's standards is long in the tooth, I'm still enjoying it. The noise appears to be higher than that of the new Olympus flagship. But, it still produces some nice results.

A couple of quick shots this morning using the 50-200mm ED

Excellent! The jay looks like he is getting ready to start scolding you for taking his photo.

Hi Gary/Steven,

Thanks for the kind words.

Steven,

This is the first really good shot that i've got of this particular Jay. He and another Jay have come to the feeder together usually and stay for just a short time. I haven't been able to pick up any particular time pattern, so, haven't been ready for them when they arrive.

I enjoy seeing him because he really does have a fiesty personality. And as you have noticed, his personality comes through the image.

I hope to get a better image of him, complete with his entire tail.

Zig

zig,

Theses are great detail shot, only one point. It would be nice if the blue jay tail did not get clipped.

That's one beautiful Bluejay, and the capture is perfect.
