Huh? I thought you said you had a computation that got you to age 43.

Happy Birthday!

I said THAT.... really? Since I quit writing code they tell me HEX, OCTAL, binary & base 10 is passe, it is now something called COFFEE or whatever, maybe it is a CUP of JOE, that's it JAVA, the code of the the SUN where one doesn't need to do the funny arithmetic any longer....... anyway the final 10-years writing UNIX shell caused me to just MAN up;

HERE IT IS: real time here 73-years minus 48-years of active coding plus 14-languages written & now retired 4-years..... All real numbers, there you are 43 !!!!

hehehe --- only Ted & I may appreciate a formula such that it only works one time in its life of bits, bytes and words.

ROTFLOL

I was remembering your post in this thread:

http://forums.steves-digicams.com/ol...-friend-2.html

But I got the age wrong.

And anyway Steven's memory is way better than mine since he actually remembered that yesterday was your birthday. Dunno about you but I am impressed.

Ted

Ted, as you know numbers are interesting & fun; all my numbers in the goofiness are in fact real, I did that for that long in that many ways before retiring 4-yrs back (Mar 27).

Have you noticed the day 11 facts; 9-11, Haiti & now Japan all happened on the 11th day of a month.

Steven's memory probably has something to do with the fact that he is not quite 43 yet.
