Thanks for sharing this image as it is quite remarkable.
Not bad for a camera that only sells for 10 large and that's just the body only

Default Still alive

Just a quick note to let y'all know I'm alive and busier than the proverbial one-armed paperhanger. I've been dropping by daily and dropped in a comment or two but I couldn't stick around too long.

The paperwork end of getting the new ministry established has been submitted in it's final form and it appears that after some training to take place in mid-early September, we're good to go.

I did attend a wedding and a baptism this past weekend in northern Ohio. I got some interesting images and I'll be posting those in a few days as I have some other stuff I have to catch up on.

I'll be glad when all the dust has settled and things are back to quasi-normal!

Default Some things are still alive here in the MidAtlantic US

All of us humans are dying here but in the past week these guys popped up, saying "Hey we love greenhouses!" Not saying this photo is special but the subject amazes me.

What pretty blossums. I'm not knowedgable on flowers. What kind are they?? And they look like something that would come in very early spring, as they are full of blossoms but have not yet put out their leaves.

Default I now have an E-3!!!!!!

Hi guys: thanks to a very generous photo benefactor, I now have a Oly E-3 which is in pristine condition! Definitely will be a learning curve with this camera, I can already tell that it is smarter than I am.

I'm going to be traveling to Virginia next week for my wife's family reunion, so I am trying to learn it quickly so I don't embarrass myself in front of relatives. Even though it is heavier than the E520, it handles well, and I love the feel of it in my hands. Everything just seems to fall into place under your fingers. Even with my kit lens, or the 70-300, it definitely focuses a lot faster than the E-520. Sorry for rambling on, I guess all you guys who already have one know what I'm talking about.

Now if only Sharon can find a job, maybe I can afford to buy a 12-54 to put on it! Anyway, give me a few weeks and I'll start posting some shots from it.

Folks, do we think this is a good idea? Steven's already got some POTDs. If he uses the E3 to get a bunch more, isn't he going to become difficult to live with? (On this forum, I mean.)
