Hmmmm. Looking at that guy I'm thinking about one of my father's favorite quotes from Shakespeare: "The better part of valor is discretion" (Henry the Fourth).

I was out on a bit of legit biz this morning and passed by the Daff fields. In a couple of weeks they'll be tulip fields compete with bus loads of tourists.
Dutch settlers came to this area many moons ago and planted tons of bulbs here on the old flood plains. Now they even sell bulbs to Holland to refresh their stock.

I had my old Oly FE 370 in the car with me, that's why I'm posting here.

Ooooh, those are nice Scouse. Well done and with a little P&S at that!

You should go back with your dslr, Ken, and spend some time at that location.

Really nice, Ken. Our dafs bloomed during a premature warm spell and got knocked out a couple of days later in an overnight frost.

Steven is right (although I would never admit that in public) - you should shoot it some more.

Really well done, Gary. It's too bad such a pretty product of nature leads to such a PITA (although I suppose Mother Nature doesn't see it that way).

Thanks, Ted. I have to agree. I've got mine pretty much under control this year. Our neighbors (all but one) have a dandelion's field of dreams! Looks like I'll have to be putting down a LOT of Weed-B-Gone this year.
