Default Did it Survive???

(if there is an ad, i don't endorse it)

I hung the 300mm/EC-14 on the old E-3 to see how it fared after the fall.

Besides, can't let Zig have all the fun shooting our feathered friends.

Pics follow this post.

We don't get many pine siskins and there is alot of man made hardware, but atleast I did get a shot.

A little more distaance and poor framing with the red-belly woospecker.

A nuthatch

A goldfinch waiting its turn.

I think it made it through ok.

Geez Greg,

Just when I start feeling good about the equipment I have you have to go and post some outstanding shots with your killer combo.

Seriously though, I'm happy and relieved to see that the 300mm survived. Quite nicely, in fact.................

Well, if it didn't, you're sure using a combo that's doing a mighty fine job as a substitute!

Nice pics Greg. Fall didn't seem to affect the sharpness at all!
