Default E-5 #2 - RAW-Hacked Bird Pics.

(if there is an ad, i don't endorse it)

Well folks, I got the replacement body and today there was enough light to get ISO's in triple digits. I shot over 100 frames, went to load them into Lightroom only to discover I shot in RAW only, so I went through the hack of the EXIF and fooled Lightroom into thinking they were E-30 files. Its a hassel and IMHO lightroom acted wierd, so I hope they support the E-5 soon.

Pics follow.

Hi Greg

Good to hear that the new E5's arrived !! Not sure how long Adobe will take to support the E5 but I don't think it'll be too long. If LR isn;t working to well with the RAW files you might want to download a copy of Silkypix as that now has E5 support.

Cheers

Harj

Hi Harj,

I'm, glad it here. Possession is 0/10ths the law, so they can't back out now

I think I'll just shoot JPEG files (in combo with RAW) and wait until Adobe get its act together. THEN I'll upgrade to LR3!!! I'm holding off so they have an incentive to make it happen.

Greg,

A very nice selection of pics.. detail in that crop pic looks good. What AF mode did u use ? How do you find the AF on the E-5 . .I know its only early days, so expecting no miracles but how do you think it compares to the E-3 ?

Cheers

Good to see you got it your replacement, Greg. Looks like you're up and running just fine if those images are any proof.
