Hi Ted,

It is a bit interesting because when I open Steve's in the morning on the home forum page, when you look at the POTD section it references the previous day's photo. but if I click on the Photo Contest Tab it shows todays photo.

Go figure.

Not sure that's true,

I changed to the bright theme, reopened Steve's, and yesterday's POTD still popped up, exactly as in the dark theme. I went back to the darker theme, it makes the photo colors stand out better.

If you're using the light theme there is a button at the top that says "Photo Contest" that brings up today's POTD even early in the morning. That button isn't present in the dark theme - the link bar is different. Apparently Steve's doesn't want those of us who look at life more darkly, to see the POTD until we've had a lot of coffee.

But I do prefer the dark theme for the same reason you do.

LOL! My sentiments also. I'm not much of a morning person. I can't really get going until I've had my morning coffee. (strong, full bodied and definitely not decaffeinated!)

Yes, Ken, I am very concerned about that also. But take heart - I have a solution.

As luck would have it, I was driving by a Mercedes dealer this afternoon, and damn if I didn't see a car that should obviously replace that old Firebird Steven apparently drives, and uses as his avatar. So I plan to hold this until he gets out of hand. But I'm happy to show you the replacement car, as long as you don't let Steven see it until we're ready to show it to him.

Do keep in mind that as opposed to that Firebird, this much more modern car has the wheelbase, body color (oh yeah what a color for him), performance, and power-to-weight ratio that Steven really needs.

I'll insert the photo a ways down here so he can't see it.

The colours are a lot like his flamingo gone metalic. Definitly a Floridian Car, but will he get his head into it now...????

ROTFL !!

That car doesn't have t-tops; I wouldn't buy it.

I'm sure that is really Ted's car, it seems to fit him! (Especially the color.)

Now we know why he didn't photograph that F-50 when he posted the car pictures a while back, the color wasn't flamboyant enough for him!
