Default Went to the church today

I visited a local church today and took some pics. The inside of the church was gorgeous and these pics really do not do the justice. Hope you like them

Agreed, that tomb image is really nice and the last shot of the gothic-style ceiling is really cool. the details are exquisite.

What is it about the human spirit that makes us build such beautiful detail and intricacies into churches and symbols of life and death?

I don't know, but you've certainly captured both in these images.
I agree with Gary and Greg. The monument and last image are my favorites.

Beautiful colors, great composition, excellent exposures, - well done! What's interesting is that I wouldn't have expected that ornate of an interior just from seeing the outside of the building.
