Default Vivid Sunsets

Sometimes mother nature does things that are remarkable. A couple of weeks ago, I went out with E-30 inhand + a 12-60mm lens. The evening sky was starting to turn and the colors were spectacular.

Here are two shots taken minutes apart. I faced the sunset and took a shot turned 180degrees and took another. No post processing, done other than cropping to suit and reducing pixel count for the web. The colors are as they came out of the camera. The E-30 was set to natural mode and I shot in manual mode.

Excellent images zig; what wonderful colors on that sunset in #1, and on #2, the clouds catching the rays brighten up an otherwise somber scene. (#2 would be an excellent candidate to convert to grayscale with just the orange of those closes as the only color.)

The first one almost looks like I'm peering into a volcano. Nice shots, Zig.
