Default A DSLR for Floridians?

What do y'all think? It has style, class, and those subtle colors they like so much in Florida:

(Hey Ken, it would go well with a raspberry-colored SmartCar, don't you think?)

Holy moly! Glad only 100 of 'em have been produced. I don't foresee a huge demand. The good part thing about 'em is: they'd be VERY difficult to lose, misplace and, what camera thief in their right mind would attempt a snatch? He'd go blind making the grab!!

I'd be afraid that toddlers would keep trying to steal it...

And then their mothers would hit you for making them cry when you
stole it back...!

I agree Wiz, ....and could be easier to sneak (attach play toy to young'in) into those venues which frown toward real cameras.

So you're saying Greg C. ought to get one for his sports photography? That's gonna take some persuading, I suspect.

If I could get a camera like that for $100 I'd probably buy one. The reason being, I have a number of friends who ask me to loan them a camera from time to time, and.......well, you can see where I'm going with this.

Ted

PS: You do know that it will become a collectors item, right? People will collect anything, even potholders...

You are right about that, especially if they only make 100 of them as claimed. In fact, I bet a large percentage of the purchasers will be collectors who will not even take it out of the box, and will hold it waiting for the price to go up.

LOL! Well I certainly wouldn't show it to anyone whose opinion of me were one I valued. Would you?
